Accel 340 Series

Welcome to AMT's line of low-cost, desktop forms printers--the AMT
ACCEL-340 series. The series consists of four models: the 85-column ACCEL-342
and -342d, and the 136-column ACCEL-344 and -344d. All models feature
a long-life, 24-pin printhead with enough impact force to print through 5-part forms with
carbons. And at a brisk 320 cps! The 342s handle multipart forms up to 12" wide, and the 344s up to 17" wide. All models come with three separate paper paths, automatic forms loading and parking, first- and last-line printing, forms-on-demand without wasting the next form, automatic interface switching, and our patented Select-dial control panel for easy printer setup and configuration. The ACCEL-342d and -344d come with an extra bottom-feed tractor so you can print on two pin-fed forms without reloading. That's in addition to the two-position tractor included with all 340 series models. All 340s print on cut sheets, card stocks, labels, envelopes, and transparencies. With all
ACCEL-340 models, you get IBM® and Epson® emulations to assure compatibility with all
your software applications. Plus, there are optional DEC® emulations available. You also
get nine built-in fonts, various character pitches, and even the ability to print nine of
the most popular bar code symbologies. |
